A Surge of Violence

The past few days, it's been easy to get the feeling everyone on Juuban Avenue has been tense; from young children to old storekeepers, the tension has been building and people have been finding themselves overreacting to small slights, yelling at each other and escalating into actual fistfights! The effect has taken longer to get to the heroes and other magically strong individuals, but today even they can feel a little on edge.

But now that the anger, and the power of the Youma Lyssa has reached its boiling point, the source of that anger is clear - particularly to Luna and Artemis - they can feel that familiar taint of their ancient enemy. For the rest, there's still that obvious feeling of something not right, something sinister lurking on Juuban Avenue.

And as that feeling intensifies, people on this small street are erupting into a full on mob - fists and feet are being thrown as much as insults, and occasionally people are exhausting themselves and collapsing, only to be ignored by the anger filled crowd. And nearby is the source of that disturbance.

A tall female youma, with red skin and black hair with red and orange highlights, starting a fire motif that continues to her black clothing, is holding out her hand and drawing wisps of energy from that crowd of violence. There's a sneer on her face as she looks down to her compatriot, the Phantom Empire's second in command, Phantom.

"Humans emotions are so easy to twist, to take, to turn into energy for our Great Ruler." she says. "And some of the emotions they have - hope, love, care - they are so disgusting and weak. I see why Mirage hates them. We will turn them all to the service of our rulers!"

Compared to the youma's bright red skin and fire motif and obvious dark nature, Phantom contrasts, being a young man with red hair and blue eyes in a white coat and weirdly placed sword seath and red bracer on his right arm. He had no particular dog in this fight besides the words of Queen Mirage. 'Go help Queen Beryl's action tonight. For my sake, Phantom~'.

He's unable to disobey such a request when it is in service to Mirage-sama~, which is why he is here.

Lyssa comments on a topic all so dear and close to his heart. "All those things are fleeting illusions." he states. "Humans often decieve themselves with such things." he insists. "It is rather sad and pathetic."

Phantom is of course, secretly also hoping these actions and commotion attracts Pretty Cures. Of course, he'll also be willing to throw himself into other types of magical girls that arrive. He just won't particularly enjoy it as much is all.

He knows they're coming. He knows how these things go.

Tuxedo Kamen is standing on the edge of a rooftop, face a blank mask behind the gleaming white literal mask he wears. He's looking down at the growing riot, and though it doesn't show on his face, he's transfixed by gut-level distress at the haunting familiarity of the scene and sheer outrage at the gall of this youma. It doesn't show on his face, but it shows in the set of his shoulders, the white-gloved fists at his sides, his unmoving tension as the breeze ruffles his hair and cape.

And he can't do a damned thing on his own. He can't do anything but wait: he'd texted Makoto, and hoped to god she'd bring the others, because this one-- this one is two jerks and a crowd of controlled civilians.

At least he has the consolation of having felt Sailor Moon's henshin activate in the intervening time.

Moon Prism Power Make-up~

Indeed, Usagi is following along Makoto after the text, no doubt summoned by a similar one! The feeling of anger in the city has been pervasive for a while, but tonight's it's an explosion! After a quick henshin, she's in the air, and lands atop a roof! Usagi gasps!

"So many people are fighting! They'll really get hurt!" She mumbles to her fellow senshi, and perhaps Tuxedo Kamen might hear her!

Miss White feels something familiar. With a pair of binoculars to her face, she's 'peering' out at the mosh pit of fighting and anger going on. Mostly for looks. Area Search does the rest.

"Now /THAT/ is what I call a party! I am so bringing beer after work."

Sailor Moon spies the youma that's at fault, if not Phantom, and points her finger as the moon gives her a lovely backdrop!

"People are frustrated and angry all the time! But using that against them is a crime! People should be feeling love and forgiveness, not anger! In the name of the Moon, I'll punish you!"

The tension has even been affecting the local animals somewhat. Not as much as humans; the magic hadn't been targeted towards them, after all. But the strays have definitely been on edge, and that's worrisome to Ikiko.

Or in this case, Tsukiko. The wolfgirl prowls around, sticking to the rooftops as she tries to track down the source of the feeling of wrongness while avoiding being spotted by people on the ground. It's slow going, but barring a distraction, it's also the stealthiest.

The erupting brawl grabs the attention of the people down on the street, and its rippling spread gives Tsukiko a sense of direction. She bounds along, leaping from rooftop to telephone pole to large sign as she heads towards the source. There-- that tall, flame-colored youma is undoubtedly the source! As well as...

The wolfgirl pivots with a muffled yelp and dives for the cover of a nearby rooftop. Phantom is here as well?! She's not sure how well she could fight him one-on-one, much less with a youma helping him!

Then Sailor Moon's words float through the air, and Tsukiko smiles. She's not alone in this fight. Together, they can face down Phantom and the youma.

Leaping from the rooftop, Tsukiko lands near Sailor Moon. The wolfgirl smiles to the Senshi, then turns and glares at Phantom and Lyssa. Inspired by Sailor Moon, Tsukiko takes a dep breath, then strikes a fighting pose and says:

"Playing in the moonlight, hunting in the starlight, Cute Wolf Tsukiko is here to protect the night!"

Even if she hadn't gotten Mamoru's text, it wouldn't have taken Sailor Jupiter long to realize that bad things are afoot in the area. The message from the number that she's saved into her contacts as 'Kamen-san' brings her running, not quite at full tilt only for the sake of not completely outpacing Usagi.

From the same rooftop where Sailor Moon declares her presence, Makoto surveys the brawling in the street below with a look of dismay. "We need to calm them down somehow," she decides, and spreading her hands in the air to either side of her, Sailor Jupiter calls upon the wind. "Flower hurricane!"

The wind answers, surging up around her as roses bloom and scatter in her hands. The flurry of petals that blows down through Juuban Avenue on a sudden rush of powerful wind won't harm anyone, but the swirl of color and fragrance that buffets the youma's unlucky victims should at least confuse and disorient them, keeping them from so readily harming one another.

     Cure Drive had gotten a text from one of her friends, but that person was probably in the brawl/mob she was told about in the text she had received.

    Rooftop to Rooftop, Cure Drive quickly makes her way to Juuban Avenue. She was doing her best to try and get there as quickly as possible. Lucky for her she got there in time for Sailor Moon to give her speech, but just blinks a couple of times.

    Cure Drive when atop of her perch, doesn't take too long to spot the source of trouble as her eyes stop right on Phantom. She then stands upright on the edge of the building she decided to take up as her perch, then points out to Phantom. She is easily within earshot of Everyone as she speaks up in a loud voice, "Phantom, a individual who believes emotions are a figment of their imagination has no soul. If you have no soul, there is no drive to keep on living. If you live to get rid of us Cures, then it is my duty to see that you will one day feel emotions, but first I must protect the innocent people who you put in danger!"

Lyssa looks up as several of Tokyo's magic defenders make their appearance. And when she sees Sailor Moon and Jupiter specifically, she actively snarls. "You can't stand against the power of our great leader! Darkness will cover the earth once again, and she will rule!" she yells to them as they make their appearance. Cure Drive seems more focused on Phantom, but she gets a response from Lyssa as well. "The only emotions that matter are the ones that give you strength and power - like anger!" she says.

Sailor Jupiter's flower hurricane does manage to distract the innocent civilians caught up in the Youma's power, and some of them, devoid of the adrenaline rush of the fight, actively pass out. There's a few more left though - largely teenage males and females, with the odd young adult - who seem to have a bit more pep in them.

"Show them the power of your anger!" Lyssa shouts. And those who still stand push through the flower hurricane, and the four humans, faces twisted into rage and anger, /jump up/ to the top of the building and begin to converge on Jupiter, Moon, Drive, and Tsukiko, each screaming at them about various slights, real and imagined, though none of them are screaming the names of the girls - they're seeing them as the targets of their anger, decieved by the illusions of Lyssa and their uncontrolled, darkness-fueled rage into attacking them! There's one innocent mind controlled human headed for each of the four girls.

Phantom is regarding these magical girls arriving. Listening to the words, and the speeches as he frowns. "Love and Forgiveness are fleeting, and the source of Mirage-sama's grief." he says plainly. But then.. Cure Drive arrives, and his eyes focus. Suddenly, nothing else matters. That. Is a Pretty Cure. That is all the source of all of Queen Mirages hate.....

He begins to draw his deep red, mirrored surface sword from his scabbard. While now keeping eye contract with Cure Drive.

"I shall become the demon blade that will purge this world of love... courage... and justice--- for the sake of Queen Mirage.... I will defeat all Pretty Cures I meet, on my word as the Precure Hunter!"

He raises his sword high into the sky. "LET THE FUTURE REFLECTED IN THE MIRROR BECOME TERRIBLE!" he calls out.

With a burst of wind, and dark energy eminating from the sword engulfs the unconcious people on the ground as they become trapped in coffin shaped mirros protruding from the ground. This isn't just one. It's many--- as lines of red ribbon begin to surround each coffin.

"COME ON OUT---- SUPERBAD!" he calls out. All the mirrors flash---- using the multiple remains of happiness trapped inside the mirror to summon something that looks a lot like your normal Terribad--except it's much larger, and in a white cape.

Phantom hops to the beings shoulder and begins glowing red.

The superbad begins sowing purple crystals everywhere--- they come from the ground and begin to cover buildings.

"Come for me, and show me your conviction, Cure Drive!" challenges Phantom.

A PreCure is handling Phantom, there's a Cute Wolf, and both Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor Jupiter are here! Sailor Moon smiles almost confidently for a moment!

"There's more to life than power! There's happiness and the love of your friends beside you! That's what truly makes you strong!"

And then, suddenly, incoming civilian! Sailor Moon's arms flail as the leaping civilian aims a fist at her! Both arms open, and she narrowly dodges, only to end up catching and slamming to the ground! Oomph!

She's a little dazed, and clings to the girl who's trying to no doubt further punch her.

"N...no! I don't want to fight you! Calm down! SAILOR MOON HUG! Someone heeeeeelp!" Thus, Sailor Moon is hugging, wrestling, and generally trying to get the poor brainwashed civilian to not punch her and to calm down, in a flailing tangle of limbs and rooftop-dust!

Cute Wolf Tsukiko yelps as she's rushed by a civilian. The wolfgirl ducks and rolls, sweeping with a leg to trip the civilian attacking her.

She looks over as Phantom shouts, and she watches as he summons the Superbad. "/Another/ one?!" she yelps, staring in disbelief as it starts throwing purple crystals around.

A sound behind her prompts her to duck and whirl around; the civilian that was attacking her has stood back up and is swinging at her again.

Tuxedo Kamen does hear Moon, though instead of joining the girls, he steps back and melts into the shadows to regroup, to regain his mental composure. And that takes removing his gaze from the chaos below and focusing on watching the girls (in general) and Sailor Moon (in specific). As thoroughly as she announces herself, undoubtedly backlit by the moon and creating a fine twintailed silhouette, he can just see the forthcoming repercussions, and readies himself to help.

Then suddenly, civilians are rushing the rooftop (how--?!) and Cure Drive and Phantom are yelling and the downed civilians on the ground are getting trapped in mirrors like that kid at the school, and things get really complicated really fast--

--and for a half second, his eyes widen behind the mask as Sailor Moon pushes past her panic and acts decisively, and he starts to grin... but no, dealing with a normal person attacking her when she's in henshin isn't something that comes naturally, and he's abruptly in motion.

Cape billowing out behind him as he darts toward Moon, the boy in the formalwear reaches down like lightning and makes a grab for the civilian girl's elbows, yanking her back. Rage-fuelled strength makes it really hard for him to keep hold of her, and he's intensely aware of how easily she could wreck him if she put her heels or her head or even her hips in the most tactically advantageous places.

"Shoelaces!" he says to Sailor Moon, a nonsensical demand in the middle of everything. "Or my cape, or something, I don't know, I don't have any thing else to tie her hands with. What are those purple crystals, does anyone know?"

    Cure Crive narrows her eyes at Lyssa, and shakes her head, "To have anger, you must be able to love!" She sighs a little bit at what Phantom is saying, which goes in one ear out the other...

    All while Cure Drive is ignoring Phantom for a few moments, and giving him a blank stare a civilian leaps at her. She takes a couple of steps back to avoid the poor fellow that was sent after her, then turns her attention to that civilian for a moment.

    "Oh my.. To be so angry, you must have a hard time controlling your actions.. Here, let me help you." The civilian lunges at her again, and Cure Drive side steps chopping lightly at the back of the civilian's head, sending him to the ground. That light chop is probably pretty hard given she hasn't really mastered the control of her strength in this form yet.

    The short amount of time that Cure Drive was dealing with the poor civilian, she failed to notice that Phantom summoned something that she knew nothing about, and wasn't even taught about yet. She turns to look back over the edge to look at the Superbad, and Phantom standing on it's shoulder.. Not to mention the purple crystals all over the place, and people in mirror coffins..

    The mirror coffins... She remembered those from the Cure Graveyard and her face turns read with anger, but this isn't like the anger that the youma is causing, this is controlled anger.. She doesn't bother summoning her staff at all, she wanted to use her hands, feet, elbows, knees, shoulder, and any other part of her body that could be used as a weapon and hurt...

"Hey! What the--" Sailor Jupiter's startled exclamation cuts off in a hurry as a magically-enraged young man comes at her with fists flailing. Bringing her arms up defensively in front of her, she ducks back from the blows, momentarily at a loss - how's she supposed to fight back when the person who's attacking her is a victim.

Then Sailor Moon cries for help, and Makoto's resolve hardens. Fortunately Tuxedo Mask is already there, but even with that assist, Jupiter can't let herself get bogged down on the defensive, especially not with whatever the hell Phantom's doing. "Sorry about this," she says through gritted teeth, genuinely regretful - and when the maddened young man lunges at her again, she slips past his wild strike and meets him with a fist, a controlled sharp shot to the solar plexus to knock the wind out of him and leave him stunned.

"I don't know," she calls back to Tuxedo Mask when he asks about the purple crystals, "but I'm guessing bad!"

Lyssa watches as the civilans leap up and begin to engage the defenders; but Phantom's taking matters into his own hands, summoning a massive ally! She can't help but wonder if he'd go through the trouble if there wasn't a Cure here. But whatever, help is help!

And help is what Sailor Moon gets, as Tuxedo Kamen restrains the civilian. While she might be able to do damage to him if she was of her right mind and trying, she's just a snarling, feral person of rage now, and instead she fruitlessly tries to just fight free, flailing about.

Cure Drive and Sailor Jupiter dispatch their civilians, knocking them unsconscious - they're just really angry, somewhat overstrength humans, and they don't have much durability to them. But Tsukiko's is still up, and it makes wild swings at the wolf-girl!

Lyssa rises up to take the fight to the girls, her fingertips flicking with the flames of rage!

"You can't possibly stand against the might of the Obsidian Queens! We'll tear earth apart and leave it exactly how we want - devoid of love, under the rule of the Queens, as it should be!" she howls, and then she's diving in, those hands of hers ending in clawed fingernails, swiping through the air towards Jupiter and Moon - leaving trails of purple, dark fire in the air as she moves in!

She leaves Cure Drive to the Pretty Cure Hunter, for now.

Cure Drive comes barreling towards him and his monster. He uses the bracer on his right arm to brace attacks, a bright flash of red reflecting every strike. He's able to stop himself from behind flung off the shoulder of the SuperBad. The SuperBad isn't nimble, quick and is easily punched and kicked and everything Cure Drive is doing to it is pushing it back a little down the road. This thing isn't invincible, but it is going to take a little more force to defeat this-- afterall, it's a Superbad. Not a Terribad!

Phantom isn't going to explain his crystals to heroes. But they are purple and craggy and dismal.

Moon is saved by the timely intervention of Tuxedo Kamen! As the girl is pulled back by the elbows, her eyes go wide, mahou bubbles flowing from her as she /eyes/ him! The tension is palpable for a moemnt, before he speaks.

"Shoela...OH!" It dawns on her, and she's frowning. She has heels. Then she's over by Mamoru, grabbing and yanking on his cape. For a moment she might be choking the poor man before she finds out how capes work.

Cue Sailor Moon clumsily trying to tie up the poor angered civilian with Henshin Speed!

"Good work Sailor Jupiter!" She calls out. At least she knows how to deal with this situation! Even if the poor guy will wake up aching tomorrow.

And just in time! In comes Lyssa, with her fiery fingertips!

"We won't let you! We'll make a world full of love and hope and understanding!"

Sailor Moon then leaps towards the incoming Lyssa, aiming both legs for her face! She'll get a cut for her troubles across the stomach, but she's not stopping with so many lives on the line!

"SAILOR MOON KIIIIICK!" Wham!

"Shoelaces?" Tsukiko repeats blankly, as she ducks and trips the civilian chasing her. The meaning is quickly clarified, both by Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor Moon, and the wolfgirl quickly does an elbow drop on her opponent to keep it on the ground. The civilian is winded, but still seems to have some fight left to it.

But what to tie them up with? Tsukiko's shoes are more like slip-ons than anything else, and her outfit lacks ribbons. On the other hand, the civilian has shoelaces...

The wolfgirl quickly ties the civilian's hands and shoes to each other behind the civilian's back, then gives a swift knock to the back of the civilian's head. Her punches aren't /that/ hard; the civilian may or may not be KO'd, but other than a headache they should be fine afterwards.

For good measure, Tsukiko drags the civilian behind one of the rooftop vents, to try getting them away from the worst of the fighting. Better safe than sorry, right?

The heartbubbles catch Tuxedo Kamen off-guard, though by this point they really shouldn't. The look he gives her in return, even as he's struggling to hold the angry civilian long enough for Moon to get his cape off and secure her with it, is pure unadulterated affection, appreciation. The tiny little smile he saves only for her (well, and for Usagi Tsukino, but that's neither here nor there) may as well be a Watercolor Moment.

It's shattered quickly by the action going on around them, by his collar getting yanked on his neck as Moon fails a couple of times at taking his cape off before she manages it, and by the sudden up-close and personal attention the angry youma lady is giving the assorted magical girls.

He takes a quick half-step back, dragging the writhing be-caped girl away from potentially getting trampled as Sailor Moon KIIIIICKs at Lyssa; he flinches as she gets cut-- and then he spots the opening in the middle of Cure Drive's own personal hellhole.

SMASH CUT to a black top hat winging viciously through the air toward the gigantic creature's head. "DRIVE!" he yells, "NOW!"

     Cure Drive still stares blankly at Phantom for a moment before crouching down on the edge of the building, looking to the man. "I may be no different than them, but someone will succeed at some point in time. It could be any of us current cures, because your evil ways can not last forever." She turns her attention to Lyssa for a moment, watching the youma attack Jupiter and Moon, then to the fancy dressed guy, nodding to him lightly in confirmation."

    Cure Drive leans over a bit as her body starts to tilt over the edge of the building, but as she started to fall, she pushes off from the side of the building, sending herself flying right at Phantom. Her eyes locked onto Phantom as she closes in with amazing speed from the power of her long legs pushing off of the building. Somehow in mid air, she uprights herself, and quickly spins around, looking like she is about to do something.. It looked more like a high speed, flying roundhouse kick that was aimed right at Phantom, hoping to knock him off of the Superbad. Those, long, powerful legs might hurt a little bit..

    "Whatever the cost, you must be stopped, and anyone who dares to harm innocent people along with you!"

Between everyone's efforts, the civilians are out of the line of fire for now. And not a moment too soon, because the fight's coming to them in earnest.

Even so, in the midst of everything, Sailor Jupiter sees the look that passes between Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask - full-on soft pastel still-frame, sparkling with floating hearts and shoujo bubbles.

It stops her, a hitch like the roof dropping out from under her feet.

Then Lyssa is on them, claws flashing fire and scoring a cut across Sailor Moon's torso, and Jupiter snaps out of it, hating herself for the moment of distraction. "Right!" she calls out in the wake of Sailor Moon's declaration, suddenly fierce-eyed and furious. "Just watch us!"

With these words, she lunges at the youma, fists trailing whipcrack tendrils of electricity.

Lyssa attacks! Her claws cutting into Sailor Moon's body brings her a brief moment of sadistic glee - and then it's cut short as she feels the full force of SAILOR MOON KICK! Those boots make a henshin-assisted impact, and takes a set of massive steps backwards, clutching at her stomach!

Tsukiko binds the last civilian, and now the innocents are out of the fight... leaving only Lyssa... and a massive super-size monster of Phantoms!

Lyssa regains her fighting stance and those claws are moving forward again - only for Sailor Jupiter to drive at her, fist crackling with electricity and power! The punch lands hard, right in the face, and Lyssa actually does a small spin from the impact before going down to one knee! There's green-black blood on her face (and Jupiter's fist) and she's winded for a moment! Now might be the time to get one combatant off the field!

The hat comes flying at the Superbad with a tremendous force! It knocks it off balance.

At the same time, Cure Drive comes in and attempts to kick Phantom off the Superbad. Phantom raises his bracer to block the attack. While it stops the attack from physically connecting with him---it doesn't stop the force straight on, causing him to fly off to the right. Phantom does a little flip in the air as a wave of wind surrounds him and he dissapears......

To appear on a nearby rooftop. Not the same rooftop some heroes are on, at least.

"Superbad...!" he calls out.

The Superbad fires a powerful blast of energy from it's eyes into Cure Drive-- and Sweeping it along the ground towards the Cute Wolf, suddenly--- probably by happenstance of her probably just being the next closest target that wasn't Drive.

Phantom frowns a bit as the mob of people are neutralized into safety.

Usa is utterly oblivious to any signs of Mahou and Bubbles she's giving off, quickly back into the fight! After all, there's a youma that Jupiter puts utterly off balance with a senshi punch of justice!

"Let's do it everyone!" She calls to her friends, her tiara appearing in her hand!

She slowly winds back as the headwear fills with the light of the moon!

"Moooon Tiara Action!" Toss!

Like a bullet, the tiara races for Lyssa, seeking to strike her right in the forehead!

"Finish it, Jupiter-chan, Tux-kun!"

     Cure Drive was feeling pretty good right now, but she seemed to forget that her footing was on the Superbad's shoulder right where Phantom just was. "Hah!" She blinked a couple of times seeing a bit of light from the corner of her right eye...

     Cure drive stared at the Superbad right in the eyes that were glowing about ready to shoot eye lasers at her.. "Oh.. Cra..." She didn't finish that as she gets launched by the eye lasers to who knows where.. Definitely not Jupiter, thankfully as she is still on Earth.

Cute Wolf Tsukiko starts heading back into the fight, darting towards the fray. The Superbad's beam starts tracking towards her, causing the wolfgirl to yelp and dive forward to get clear of the attack.

She lands nimbly on her hands and feet, and she instinctively launches forward, still in a quadruped crouch. There's a moment of surprise, then Tsukiko grins and leaps onto the Superbad's foot, grabbing it by the ankle. The wolfgirl opens her mouth wide, her fanglies gleaming as they lengthen and sharpen--

And then she bites the Superbad. Hard. *And starts gnawing.*

'Tux-kun'? Amused and admittedly slightly bemused, Mamoru flicks one white-gloved hand out, flourishing a rose from thin air, fairly certain that the girls still present -- especially the suddenly-furious Jupiter -- can easily finish it themselves, but not wanting to disappoint Sailor Moon. He tosses it lightly towards Sailor Moon with showy flair as he jumps up, then somersaults in midair and jackknifes on the down arc, aiming one very determined dress shoe at the youma's head and praying he doesn't fall victim to friendly lightningfists.

It's such a little thing, really. A theatrical gesture, a rose from nowhere. The small, private thrill of a shared secret. Watching Tuxedo Mask toss the rose to Sailor Moon, Makoto can't quite strangle down a feeling of off-balance confusion.

She could shake herself for letting it matter, for letting it distract her in the midst of a fight. the youma's not the only threat here, not even the biggest - she can't afford this.

Focus, Mako!

With ferocious determination, Sailor Jupiter turns her attention onto Lyssa, tiara sparking. One hand flings upward, reaching for the sky to grasp the lightning and pull down a bolt from the blue. "Supreme--"

A thunderclap booms from what had been a clear sky. There is just enough time for Tuxedo Mask to get clear after his flying kick connects, before the lightning bolt sears the air. "--THUNDER!"

Lyssa is getting back to her feet, and as Sailor Moon is winding up that tiara throw, Lyssa is headed right for her, claws bared and a primal scream of rage and fury! Flame is trailing her, and she is unwilling to let her own intelligence stop her furious charge!

Unfortunantly for her (and happily for everyone else involved) Tuxedo Kamen is there to stop that charge with a hammer-drop dress shoe! It misses Lyssa's face but comes down on her shoulder and stops her charge cold - and Tuxedo Mask has just enough time to get clear before a tremendous blast of lightning strikes Lyssa - shocking her last vestiges of defense out of her!

She almost doesn't even look like she has the energy to be angry anymore, and then that tiara hits her hard! Her body shakes as the tiara's flight path goes not just into her - but through her! - and that finishes her off, her body no longer able to stay together - she begins to dissolve, as though a corpse falling victim to the sands of time, and by the time it's all over, Lyssa is nothing more than a pile of moondust.

But in her defeat, she manages one last thing; a cry of 'I am sorry, my Queen!'

Phantom watches a thing happen that he wished would happen to the Oresky Trio because he honestly thinks those guys are useless. You really can't mess with his results. Regardless, Lyssa is now gone. He watches Cure Drive fly away. A little dissapointed. Because if Cure Drive isn't here, he can't shove her into a Mirror and be done with another Pretty Cure.

The Cute Wolf gnaws on the Superbad. This causes it to shake it's leg frantically to try to shake her off. This comes off as a little silly.

It slams it's foot down in an attempt to shake the wolf off.

Regardless, it rampages around a moment, and tries shooting a blast downwards from it's eyes at the Cute Wolf. It seems it's focusing it's efforts on trying to remove the wolf from it.

"Superbad.... end these warriors of hope for the sake of Queen Mirage!" he calls out from his rooftop.

The youma's gone, but even unleashing the lightning hasn't done much to quell the feeling of frustration that's boiled up in Makoto's heart. Perhaps it's for the best that there's still an enemy left to fight. The look that Sailor Jupiter cuts toward the Superbad in the wake of Phantom's words could cut glass. "Like I'll let you--!"

She rushes to the edge of the rooftop, pausing only for a moment to glance back over her shoulder. "Sailor Moon! Tuxedo Kamen-san! Leave this guy to me and Tsukiko-chan!"

Without waiting for an answer, Jupiter gathers her strength and leaps, hurtling through the air towards the Superbad's head while it's still busy trying to zap Tsukiko.

Tuxedo Kamen, abruptly realizing how hard he seriously just flirted with Sailor Moon -- Mars' admonitions regarding Usagi and Homura's warnings about the dire consequences of two-timing a normal girl, a superheroine, and a princess ring through his awareness and he's blushing hotly in the forgiving moonlight by the time Makoto yells out to Moon and himself.

"You got it, Sailor Jupiter!" he calls out, then watches for a second and decides she's angrier than he wants to be around. He glances aside at Moon and abruptly gives her a quick, bright grin, there and teasing and achingly familiar, and he takes off into the darkness and vanishes somewhere along the way.

The attack on the youma proves successful! Down Lyssa go into dust, and then Usagi's turning her attention to the Superbad! Is she..blushing from Mamoru's grin?

Then, she charges the Superbad, aiming one more Moon Tiara Action at the creature!

Cute Wolf Tsukiko clings to the Superbad's ankle and keeps gnawing, even as it flails and tries to shake her free. The last stomp knocks her feet loose, but she's able to hang on.

The Superbad's blast comes close, and she dives away before the next one hits. The wolfgirl strikes the Superbad's other ankle with a two-footed stomp, then runs around underfoot, trying to distract the Superbad and kicking it whenever she pauses. "Aren't you a bit slow?" she razzes the Superbad, then runs past it again, kicking it in the toothmarks.

Sailor Jupiter leaps into action and punches the Superbad in the head----strong enough to send it flying backwards and onto it's back. Phantom looks a little concerned. Did this girl just up and punch the Superbad over? Is... is she a Pretty Cure!? But... she doesn't feel like that! it is conflicting and horrible.

The Cute Wolf damages the area it was gnawing earlier further....

Then the lovely pure energy of the Moon Tiara Action collides with the Superbad!------- the darkness of stolen happiness fades---- and the monster turns into wispy smoke that dissapates immediatly.

The mirrors containing the rest of the crowd dissapear--- causing the people to fall over with the others. Unconcious, but otherwise unharmed and will most likely wake up with the others whenever that is.

Phantom frowns a bit. Specfically at Jupiter. It's a very confused frown.

Then he just...dissapears into a burst of wind-- probably dissapearing back to the Phantom Empire, as this is no longer a useful venture.

With Lyssa out, the building rage that had been growing on Juuban avenue has finally lifted. Though the civilians are, in some cases, worse for wear, the timly intervention of the heroes has prevented it from being much worse than it otherwise could have been. The fact that some of Tokyo's police officers were also part of the rioting crowd should go a long way towards preventing anyone from ending up in major trouble over the incident. But right now, there's just a mass of unconscious people slowly regaining their mental faculties.

Tomorrow will likely contain as many apologies as tonight contained fists.

As the Superbad fades away, Sailor Jupiter just manages to leap clear, making a neat landing not too far away from Sailor Moon. Straightening up, she dusts her hands off and surveys the street.

Looks like the crystals are gone, and the mirrors are dissipating as well. That means... the people are probably safe now, right?

She doesn't know what the look that Phantom gave her was all about, but in any case, Makoto feels a little better. Looking for Tsukiko, she flashes the wolf girl a congratulatory thumbs-up.

Time for the warriors of hope to make their exits.

Cute Wolf Tsukiko darts out of the way of the toppling Superbad, then grins as it fades away and Phantom departs. Her smile widens as the people start to stir, although she does look sheepish at the thought of the tied-up civilians.

Still, she gives Sailor Jupiter a thumbs-up in return, then looks around for a good route to leave by. The wolfgirl isn't leaving quite yet, and she doesn't seem to be in a hurry; still, it's best to be elsewhere before all of the civilians finish coming to.
