Haruna Kurosawa is sitting at a table in the Tako Cafe in front of the theme park. She's sipping on a foam cup of what is probably Coca Cola or Pepsi or some other sugary drink. She seems to be sort of doing this nearly flat to the table as she mutters a bit. Corvus is nearby. Corvus is in the middle of a basket of Takoyaki balls. This is his idea of Seagull heaven.
nomnomnom Takoyaki.
She's sent Naomi a text to meet her later today at this exact spot close to this time.
She sits back up and mutters to herself as she looks down at the paperpad in front of her. It has:
* Beat (Crossed Out) Get Answers out of Blue-sama
* Figure out what that dark power was.
* What the heck fixes someone almost being purified?
And various things like that.
A young violet haired girl with her hair in curled tails and a pair of glasses on her face comes walking up to the counter and places an order. She's wearing a very nice sweater with a white blouse underneath which can be seen just by the collar. She has a pair of brown tights on and a cute skirt over that. It is a very well put together outfit.
The girl gathers her order. Said order happens to be a crepe loaded with chocolate, whipped cream and strawberries. Definitely looks sweet! Not to mention hot apple cider.
She moves over and sits across from Haruna with a smile. Naomi smiles to Gull-chan and gives a little wave to Corvus. "Hello, Haruna. How are you today? Anything crazy happening here? I seen one of my friends recently and encountered Wraiths! Yeesh! Those things are weird! One got close to me and I started feeling hopeless! They were beaten though. I also did something really crazy!" She blinks a few times.
Haruna Kurosawa blinks a bit and nods. "Wraiths? Did you happen to get any of those, um. Grief Cubes they leave behind?" she asks. "Make sure they get to Puella." she says softly.
She head tilts. "What did you do?" she asks. "Crazy, I mean?" she asks.
"And yeah. Wraiths. Be careful around those things. the Puella who stick around WPS say they're unpleasent to deal with." she says.
She head tilts. "I wanted to talk about the fight the other day. Against Oresky." she says.
"You.. felt that? Right?"
"That was an intense pressure and it gave me a headache." says Corvus through a beakful of Takoyaki. "Also, Hi Naomi." he says.
"I know I felt it and... usually. I don't personally feel stuff like that. That's why I have Corvus-chan!" she insists.
Naomi Yomada nods, "They got to my friend. Sayaka-chan! She needed them. She couldn't change! It was bad. I was just off trying to train myself,"
"WE were training! I was helping and was right there too!" Lilac comes flying out of a bag that Naomi has with her. She smiles to Haruna and waves to Corvus.
"Oh Sorry Lilac, Yes we were training. We were meditating so we can keep a clear head and stuff. Things went nuts when I heard people panicking. When I heard Sayaka's name and Naru's too, I henshined and went at it! I umm... called out a new attack..."
She takes a bite out of her crepe and gets some whipped cream on her nose. "I turned cyan and tore through two of the wraiths... It was nuts! I was a weapon and it was wild!" She blushes a little and then her mind begins going back to Oresky.
She frowns looking a little more annoyed, "Yes I felt that. What was it! How the heck can something completely undo a purification midway through!? I didn't know the Phantom Empire had that kind of power. It scared me a lot. If they hit us with that we won't be ourselves anymore!"
Lilac floats over and sits beside Corvus, "I felt it too. It made me really sick. It felt like when the Phantom Empire appeared in the Blue Sky Kingdom. "
Haruna Kurosawa sighs a bit and crosses her arms. "Huh a new attack?" she asks. "How was that different from the normal stuff?" she asks. "I mean. I just yell... 'Gull Feather Blade' and suddenly I have a sword!" she says.
"By the way. Apparently, we're really neat in that regard. Like. Other Precure? They have a set list of things they can do." she says. "I spoke to Flora-chan about it once." she nods curtly.
She frowns a bit. "I dunno. But you managed to hit Oresky and nearly end the fight for good." she says. "But... that was just." she says.
"Someone obviously doesn't want to loose these guys." she says.
"If they did that." she says with a frown.
Naomi Yomada nods, "I've never done it before and I sorta became a weapon. I literally burned through them like they were tissue paper. It was fast too!" She blushes a little and shrugs.
"Oh That is kinda cool! So we get random attacks of our choosing. That is sweet!" She smiles a little. "I mean I do a few attacks a lot honestly. That new one was just insane though!"
She stops and blinks a few times. "Haruna, Everything in me screamed to finish him off. I knew it was what needed done. I just wish it would have stuck." She looks down at the table for a moment. "If that was what Queen Mirage is capable of... It is going to take a lot more then just calling them out."
She pauses and looks at Haruna and smiles a little, "Have you ever felt a clash between your head and your heart? In my head, I'm not strong enough to do this stuff. In my heart though, Look at what happened to Oresky. That was following my heart."
Haruna Kurosawa nods. "That's how it works, Naomi! That's why I said training only gets you so far." she says with a grin. "You can't train your heart like you do your mind and body." she says. "Um. Nor do I suggest you try that." she says. "I went through that whole... Scorn thing." she mutters. "I don't suggest that for anyone."
Corvus shoves another takoyaki ball into his mouth.
"But..nrg. I'm going to get answers out of Blue-sama, and I'm not settling for a no." she says. She sighs a bit.
Naomi Yomada thinks a moment. "Blue-Sama. I am going to be meeting with him! Him and Tadase-san. I was invited to tea at the Gardens with those two. Maybe you should come along? We can question him together. Plus I am pretty sure that letting Virtue know about what happened with Oresky is a good idea. Maybe they might know something we don't." She smiles a little.
The girl thinks a little. "I Guess, I am ready to call them out. What was the persons name again. I need to get some pictures taken. Oh I fought a nut job clown recently. Someone asked me for my autograph!? Could you imagine that?" She rubs her head and smiles weakly.
Haruna Kurosawa head tilts. "Eh? Oh. Well. ehehehe People like Miyo-- Masukyo Miyo-- she seems to know about.. stuff. But she doesn't. She's still like... a ... 'muggle'?" she says. "Muggle. That's a term. But she also seems to get the idea there's 'magical heroes' and she seems to like the precure. A lot." she says.
"Anyways. Like I said, it's just a hunch." she says. "That she'd be able to reach jerks. Because I know those jerks egos. They probably look for news about them!" She says.
"Someone asked you for your autograph! That isn't surprising!" she says. "Oh...."
"OH! I DIDN'T SHOW YOU!" she says as she shoves a hand into Corvus's tailfeathers. Who squawks a moment. She pulls out!---
It's a plush with seafoam green hair, seafoam green dress with white trim and---it's a Cure Gull plush. "This was in the crane game! At the Crown!" she says. "I won, like. Five of them? God I wasted so much money but I wanted to get Hannah one and then I wanted one and I gave one to Tide and like!..." she blushes and hrmphs and calms down a moment.
"But yeah. I'm sure you'll get popular soon enough~" she grins. "If you're not already~"
Naomi Yomada blinks and does a double take at the plushie. Her mouth just drops open. "You're a plushie.. I mean Cure Gull. I mean. Yeah! You've got a plushie!" She blinks a few times and just laughs a little.
"I will send her a picture or three. I'm going to call one of them out. As much as I'd prefer just calling out Hosshiwa as she is kinda annoying, I think my fight picked me. I started the fight with Oresky and I've got to finish it."
She laughs a little bit. "Me being popular? That would be funny! I'm always the geek. I only really blow stuff up. That sort of thing doesn't make you popular." She winks and giggles.
Haruna Kurosawa shakes her head. "I dunno. Miyo pretty much likes anything with Pretty Cure attached to it." she smirks. "Oh! Um. Right. If you come by the WPS offices I'll steal the room we use to make the photo IDs. It makes really glossy high definition prints. And Hannah-chan won't mind if I steal the room for like half a minute. Besides. That's how I get mine done." she smirks.
"Not like you can walk into a department store around here and get it done that way." she smirks.
"Oresky. Maybe." she says softly.
Naomi Yomada smiles, "Lets do it!" She states concerning the pictures. "Any idea of how I should pose? Maybe like this?!" She puts one hand on her hip and makes a peace sign by her eyes with a big smile. It is totally straight from Anime. She giggles a little. "Maybe I should have something blowing up beside me? Sneak in a little hint as to my real identity?" She laughs playfully.
She thinks a little, "Yeah if I go into a store in Precure attire... Well I probably could over Halloween. I mean I'd look like just another kid in a costume... except for glowy hair!" She laughs a little.
Then its back to the more heavy conversation. "Yeah. Oresky. I almost got him once right? Maybe next time no one will interfere. I hope not. I really hope he didn't get a boost out of whatever got to him."
Haruna Kurosawa nods a bit and sighs some as she leans forward against the table again as she sips at her drink. Corvus is almost out of Takoyaki, finally.
"I don't know." she says. "That's new territory for me. That thing." she says silently.
She sighs a bit. "Sorry! I must seem like the worsssst veteran Precure right now. But to be honest, not even Tide knew what I was talking about. And she's been at it for a bit." she says quietly.
"Nrg, I really need to get her out more. She's been. Doing the patrol thing a lot at nights." she says. "And school-- and it's not like I don't /see her/ but I want her to meet my friends too." she says sheepishly.
Naomi Yomada smiles and nods as she finishes off her crepe and then takes a long sip of her cider. "Things have really gotten weird. That power scred me. The attack I called... It freaked me out. I became the weapon. I mean I was glowing with magic and just obliterated those two things. They were a good distance apart and wow!"
She smiles a little. "I guess we both have some new territory to explore. That attack would have beenthe second most powerful attack I've used... Second only to ball lightning. I'm only scratching the surface of being a Precure ain't I?"
Haruna Kurosawa nods. "Mmhmmm." she says. "Tide knows a good deal, and she doesn't use a Prebrace even." she says. She smiles a bit and head tilts. "Well, being a Pretty Cure means fighting close and personal sometimes, Naomi." she says.
"Not everyone can stand back and blast things." she says.
"Just go with the flow, and your instincts will take over." she insists.
"That's what I do!" she says.
Naomi Yomada looks at Haruna and smiles a litle. "This went beyond fighting up close and personal. I mean one of my most common attacks, LIghtning Strike, I'm right there up close and personal with the enemy. This was different. I went through them." She sighs and shrugs.
She smiles a little. "Thats what I did with Oresky. I just followed my heart. You suggested going for him. I went after him and I fought him. You told me he is very tough. His biggest weakness though is his pride. He believes himself to be the best of the best. I was trying to force him to lose himself. It didn't work. He just called out a bunch of kindabads. I think I'm not annoying him enough!"
Haruna Kurosawa hehs. "That's because Oresky isn't as dumb as he looks. These guys don't exactly have honor. Which is another reason I'm worried about calling him out." she says. "He might accept the time and place and then, you know. The Pretty Cure Hunter shows up because he knows exactly where you are now, instead of Oresky." she mutters.
"Don't get me wrong. Fighting dirty? Something you kinda need to get used to." she grumbles.
"Phantom'll take hostages or endanger innocents to get what he wants." she says.
"He already took Tide from me once and like hell am I going to let him do it while I actually know what's up and can do something about it." she seethes.
"Ugh. This is all..." she mutters. "It's draining." she says with a sigh.
"I think I should head home." she says softly. "You fine, Naomi?" she asks. "Or anything else you need?'
Naomi Yomada smiles, "Oreksy is an idiot but he's also a leader. He showed that when he refused to fight directly. Why fight an enemy when you can get the rest of your forces to take them out? He would be expecting me to be the honorable heroic type. Running in blind like we do a lot. Lets shake it up." She smirks
"I am not going in alone. I am going to talk to some friends. Not just Precures just in case Phantom shows. If he turns up for this, I can't fight him alone right? We are going to take him on. Not just me. If he is going to call on his buddies to help out, I can do that too right?" She giggles.
Naomi smiles and takes her cider as she stands up. "I am fine. I will call you later on the line. I should be alright." She smiles and stretches. "Be safe!"
